David's award-winning plays include The Miracle of Long Johns (United Solo Best Script), Kandide (Lee Korf Award), Restoration Playhouse (Red Bull Short New Play Fest), and Three Percent (PlayGround Experiment's FOA Festival). His writings on drama have been published in Playbill.com, Playbill, Back Stage, Theater Week, Show Business, Entertainment Weekly, Stages, Long Island Pulse, and The Greeley Tribune, among many others.

A songwriter, actor, and podcast host (the long-running videocast Dave's Gone By), David Lefkowitz has taught playwriting and English composition at the University of Northern Colorado and holds masters degrees in Dramatic Writing (NYU) and Theater Education (UNC).

David and his wife Joyce live and work in New York and Colorado, where they keep many, many potatoes. `Nuff said.
